Childminders have a very special and invaluable role in our society. They allow parents and guardians to go to work without having to worry about their children's welfare and safety. You give them peace of mind that their children's physical, emotional and developmental needs are met. What a mammoth task!

Your decision to become a childminder probably had more to do with your love for children, and perhaps to allow you to care for your own children than operating a business. Paperwork, tax returns, record keeping, chasing parents payments, shopping, and filling vacancies can become overwhelming. Most modules only take between 1-2 hours to do. You will get a handbook (download) with each module. The modules are presented with audio and slides. And you will get the opportunity to apply what you learnt to your own business by doing exercises.
